It&#;s been an excellent game for video games in , especially those with LGBTQ+ characters, creators, and/or themes.
As the years own passed, more and more video game developers are getting wise to the straightforward idea that the more inclusive and welcoming your video game is, the more people wish for to play it. I know what you&#;re thinking: it may seem evident, and even downright uncomplicated, that would be the case. But considering that we&#;re also living in an era where Queer laws are being ripped away like chemical strippers do to varnish, gay stories still remain as important as ever.
With so much quality to peruse throughout , the superb Ty Galiz-Rowe and I have taken it upon ourselves to do the monumental work of listing which LGBTQ+ video games from this year stood out and why they, if they aren&#;t there already, deserve a place on your holiday gaming wish list.

I’ve been thinking about writing a choice game that is based completely on guys.
I have the unique story written to four chapters currently but I haven’t developed it into anything in particular.
It’s about a childish guy (probably 16 - 18, TBC) who has a less than normal dream about a certain guy from a downtown nightclub. The dream leads to certain other things in the boy’s life that change and shape his final years as a fresh adult, for superior or for worse: the choice is yours.
As you progress through the story you discover secrets, love, lies and a sinister plot brewing in the heart if the Downtown district…
Gender locked male story with the planned eventual choice of five ROs.
Be a strong popular Jock, a young “mad” scientist, a bookworm, a top athletics student or a drama student.
Detect love and grasp what you can about your friends…and enemies…
This story will contain a rare mature scenes that won’t be suitable for younger readers.

The title made me think you want to comprehend if I was looking for Gay-themed games (I was ready to answer "only if they are good"), but the send seems to indicate you are looking for them. That ask mark, I guess. :D
You really mean ANYTHING at all? I suppose there is lots of stuff of all qualities and tastes -- quick porn, elaborate stories, RPGs where being same-sex attracted is an option (often important). But when you say "sexual orientation of the character", this already seems to exclude some things (like, jigsaw puzzles with gay porn content? those carry out not even have a main character). Is it because you want to play them, or for research, or a gift?
Anyway, while I do not consider I am an expert on Gay-themed games nor on Visual Novels (I played only a few so far), I loved Highway Blossoms, I would endorse it; actually, maybe you should check VNDB -- they hold (nearly) every VN ever released, and they are well tagged so you can filter to fit what you are looking for.

Hello folks. I’ve been a fan of Choice-of-Games but yep, I decided to go the Ren’Py route to inflict–I mean–share, my artistic talents with the world.
I ended up making a demo for a gay male matchmaking app sim.
If you’re interested, please check it out. I’ve used the various kind articles from this site to help me blueprint out routes to my game. The game will be available December and is called “Coming Out On Top.”
It’s another game being crowdfunded through Kickstarter. At the moment, it’s gotten a lot of support. Additional support is welcome of course, but if not, critiques from actual fans of the multiple-branching-storyline model would be excellent. I think there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy the demo too if you like m/m romance/games/fiction.
While the game is story and character based, it is an 18+ game due to some erotic content. Please review out the demo if you’re interested. (Link is on the Kickstarter site.)
