David Rose
David Rose , played by Daniel Levy, is one of the main characters in Schitt’s Creek (). When his once fabulously wealthy family loses all their wealth, they are forced to move to a small town that his father once purchased as a joke because of its comical name.
At first, it appears that David is little more than an eccentric and spoiled dilettante with no practical skills. He fancies himself a flourishing businessman, but his confidence is shaken when he finds out his parents secretly kept his gallery in business by buying art anonymously. i’m not going around taking bi characters and saying “love my pan son” because that would be shSchitt’s Creek: A delightful depiction of pansexuality in a small-town sitcom
Okay, okay, fans of Schitt’s Creek. I fully recognize and disclose that I am five seasons late to this party. I hear you. It’s my own fault that I didn’t receive to it sooner. I can’t claim ignorance as a defense; numerous pals recommended the show to me and I had heard that it was killing it with critics. But there’s only so much time in every day, and there is SO MUCH good streaming content to consume, you guys! Not to note books, podcasts, and movies!
But anyway, happily, we as a family finally finished up streaming a bunch of other shows, and decided to start watching Schitt’s Creek. We were already liking the reveal, but absolutely fell in love with it when, in Season 1 Episode 10, David comes out as pansexual.
If youre not familiar with the business, the premise is deceptively simple. The extremely wealthy Rose family video store tycoon Johnny (Eugene Levy), former soap opera star Moira (national treasure Catherine O’Hara), son David (show creator Dan Levy), and daughter Alexis (Annie M
